The Ciona embryo provides an ideal experimental system in the fields of evolution, development, genetics and genomics.


Larvae metamorphose into jeveniles in plastic dishes.	Juveniles are raised in the laboratories (2 to 3 weeks).	Plastic dishes with healthy animals are fixed in plastic cages.
	[Two or three months later]
Juveniles are raised in sea into mature adults.		Animals are sent to users.
